This indoor adventure park isn’t just for kids, corporate groups are loving it too.
Sydney’s south west has welcomed a massive new attraction and event venue, with the arrival of Entertainment Park in Bankstown.
Located next to Bankstown Airport at the Aerodrome, Entertainment Park claims to be the largest indoor entertainment facility and fun park in Sydney, with everything from electric go-karting, bowling, arcade games and virtual reality on offer.
But this indoor amusement park isn’t just for kids, the space is also aimed at corporate groups looking for some fun and friendly competition for their events.
Entertainment Park was founded by husband and wife duo, John and Vicky Papantoniou, after John realised he was “driving Vicky crazy” by being at home.
“I started looking for a new venture and came across the idea of go-karting,” he said.
“Indoor go-karting appealed to me as it wouldn’t be weather effected, which my previous businesses had been. People could also book their function and not worry about the weather.”
After a trip to the United States to scope out their e-karting tracks, Vicky and John decided to turn the idea into a reality.
“I wasn’t initially convinced that electric go-karting would be the way to go as most people want a V8 with plenty of HP. But once I drove a modern electric go kart I was convinced – the torque of the electric motor compared to an entertainment petrol kart is phenomenal,” said John.
“The idea then grew into having a venue that was not just targeted to young males but a venue that would interest everybody.”
So, the tenpin bowling was added, along with the virtual reality, racing simulators, arcade games, pool tables, a play centre and even a barber shop.
“A quality café and kitchen has been added to be able to cater for various needs such as large corporate events,” said John.Parking At Sydney Casino No Deposit
Entertainment can cater for corporate groups with up to 300 guests, offering a tailored canapes and functions menu.
The venue allows groups to host meetings in one of its private rooms, complete with AV facilities, before breaking off to experience the activities throughout the park.
In the lead up to Christmas, interest from corporate teams is growing.
“Corporate teams that have been through the facility have all given really positive feedback and we’ve had many repeat bookings,” said John.
“Some events have run from 10am to 5pm, allowing corporate groups to do their presentations, have a break and do an activity or two, then do an afternoon presentation, finishing with a game of bowling to unwind before heading off.”Thank you for subscribing to our eNewsletter.
